He started with the basics like how to create a new document. He explained what happens when you change your settings like width, height, resolution, etc. He then showed what is included on the sidebar so we know how to manipulate our image with the tools that are provided. He also shared with us where to find our history so that we are able to see which tools we have previously used. Lastly, he showed how to create layers within your images.

For my second video, I choose to watch one that is explaining the new feature that photoshop 2022 has because I already have had a basic knowledge of how photoshop works. The first upgrade he talks about is the Object Finder. When you go to the object selection tool you can check a box for object finder which helps find the main subjects within a piece. Additionally, he talks about the upgrade with the object subtract tool which now allows the subject to be selected in color so you can reference what you want to delete.

The third video I choose is how to make an image look like a drawing. This was intriguing to me because of our recent projects on creating a self-portrait. To start you have to make a duplicate layer and then decrease the saturation to make the image black and white. After he says that you must invert the image to change then blend mode. The next step is to go to color dodge so that the image becomes all white. Then you go to filter blur and Gaussian. Lastly, simply increase the pixels.
